On Monday morning, 9 March, a fire broke out during production at DEKO MedTech Oy’s facilities. The fire originated in one of the production machines. All personnel were evacuated immediately and no injuries occurred. The fire was confined to a small area of the production facility.
The fire brigade was called to the scene and brought the situation under control quickly.
The incident generated smoke and soot, and extensive cleaning and restoration work has been carried out at the premises. The cleaning process has now been completed, and all operations have returned to normal.
Production has resumed as planned and operations continue as normal. We have been in contact with all customers and partners affected by the situation.
We would like to thank our personnel for their exemplary and professional response, as well as the rescue authorities for their fast and efficient action. We also thank our partners for their cooperation during this period.
