At our production facility in Pieksämäki, Finland, we comply with the highest standards in accordance with EU MDD/MDR requirements. Company History

Oy Hackman AB establishes a factory in Naarajärvi.

Development of Deko devices starts and the first machine, model DEKO 200, is produced.

DEKO 300 production starts, the first model with circulating water wash.

The first bedpan washer disinfectors are delivered to hospitals in Finland.

DEKO 400 and DEKO 500 (two-door model) production starts.

The first instrument washer disinfectors are delivered to customers.

Export activities start.

Oy Hackman Ab starts importing kitchen systems from the Swiss company Franke.

Franke Group buys the Naarajärvi factory. The company name is changed to Franke Hackman Oy. After a three-year transition period Hackman is removed from the company name and activities continue as Franke Finland Oy.

Production of the current DEKO 190 and DEKO 2000 starts.

Production of DEKO 260 starts.

Production of DEKO D32 starts.

Production of DEKO 25 starts.

Due to the rapid growth of the medical device business, Franke Medical is formed in 2011 with sole focus on the healthcare business. Franke Finland continues in kitchen and sanitary business.

Production of drying cabinet DC 2200 starts.

KWC Nordics Oy is formed when KWC Group acquires the Naarajärvi plant. Simultaneously, Franke Medical Oy is merged back together with Franke Finland Oy.

Swedish Alumbra Group acquires KWC Nordics Oy and the company is renamed to DEKO MedTech Oy. Concurrently KWC Group establishes a new subsidiary in Finland, KWC Northern Europe Oy, and transfers its sanitary activities to the new company through a business transaction.

DEKO MedTech is dedicated to the production of DEKO brand machines, employing a skilled team of 80 people. Recent changes in company ownership present exciting new opportunities and further strengthen our capability to deliver innovative solutions in the field of infection control.
