To celebrate DEKO MedTech’s 50th anniversary year, we came together with our customers and partners in Helsinki in September to celebrate this important milestone.
As part of the 50th anniversary celebrations, we held a two-day Distributor Meeting, bringing together our valued distributor partners from around the world. Over the course of the two days, we looked back at DEKO’s journey and towards the future, while sharing experiences and insights from different markets. We also had the chance to take a cruise around the Helsinki archipelago, enjoying the beautiful autumn scenery and hearing fascinating stories about Helsinki’s and Finland’s history.
The celebrations culminated in DEKO MedTech’s 50th anniversary gala at the beautiful Sofia Helsinki. During the evening, we enjoyed a three-course dinner, DEKO-inspired drinks and live music. Most importantly, it was a special opportunity to bring together people with whom we have had the pleasure of working for many years and even decades.
We were also honoured to welcome a special guest to the celebrations, as Jukka Pajarinen, the new Ambassador of Finland to Saudi Arabia, joined us to celebrate DEKO’s milestone anniversary.
Towards the next 50 years
The DEKO MedTech factory in Naarajärvi, Pieksämäki, has been manufacturing and delivering washer-disinfectors since 1976. Over the years, our operations have expanded from Finland to international markets, and we have now delivered our machines to more than 40 countries around the world.
The success of our first 50 years would not have been possible without our customers and partners around the world. The solutions we develop support healthcare professionals and help them fight infections effectively, year after year.
